Journal of East-West Nursing Research is the official journal of the East-West Nursing Research Institute. The abbreviated title of this journal is J. East-West Nurs. Res. It was launched in 1997.

The Journal publishes original, peer-reviewed work in all areas of nursing including traditional Korean nursing, complementary nursing, and modern western nursing. The goal of Journal of East-West Nursing Research is to provide a platform for clinicians and academicians to promote and share various perspectives of nursing theory, practice, and education.
