Abstract
Purpose: The aim of the study was to examine the effect of auricular acupressure on low back pain and headaches in nurses. Methods: A open-label randomized controlled trial was used. Thirty-nine nurses with low back pain for more than 3 months participated in this study. Auricular acupressure stickers were applied to the participants’s waist, head and Shen men in the experimental group for 2 weeks. The Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and the Headache Impact Test-6 (HIT-6) were administered to measure participants' pain. Results: The mean differences of the VAS and the HIT-6 were significant in the experimental group at the pre and post-tests. A repeated-measures ANOVA revealed that low back pain and headache measured using NRS in the experimental group decreased significantly compared to the control group at the pre and post-tests over 2 weeks. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that auricular acupressure could be used as a useful intervention for self-care for nurses with low back pain and headache.

Abstract
Korean medicine has traditionally provided a lot of medical care for the treatment of infertility. The combination treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine can be effective for infertility to improve the problems caused by the extremely low fertility rate and the aging of pregnant women. In relation to female infertility, we reviewed the evidence for Korean medicine treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome, which has recently been increasing interest in female infertility, and the evidence for the collaboration between Korean and Western medicine in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility. Because polycystic ovary syndrome is closely related to metabolic diseases related to endocrine abnormalities, hormone treatment alone has limited therapeutic effects and has side effects.
In domestic and international research, herbal medicine and acupuncture in the treatment of infertility have shown good clinical effects based on the hypothesis of various mechanisms of effect, and many cases of successful pregnancy have been reported. Although continuous research through large-scale randomized clinical studies is needed to prove efficacy, the importance of combined treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine in infertility treatment is increasing in order to solve the extremely low fertility rate. Combining artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization with Korean medicine treatment is highly likely to be effective in increasing pregnancy success and fertility rates. In women with polycystic ovary syndrome, which is recognized as a metabolic disease due to endocrine abnormalities among the causes of female infertility, Korean medicine treatment can increase the pregnancy rate with herbal medicines and acupuncture, etc. Although well-designed large-scale clinical studies are currently lacking and meta-analysis has not provided sufficient evidence, the combination treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine is more active to increase the pregnancy rate for solving the problem of low fertility.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors related to fear of falling (FOF) in different age groups from community-dwelling mid to late-adults. Methods: To identify the factors related to FOF, data of 162,684 adults over 45 years of age from 2019 Community Health Survey was analyzed using logistic regression with complex samples. Results: Factors related to FOF found in all age groups were sex, previous experience of falls, physical activity levels over moderate intensity, subjective health status, number of chronic diseases, stress, depression, and cognitive decline. In the 45-64 age group, the FOF was significantly higher in the groups of low education level and low monthly household income. In the 65-74 and over 75 age groups, the FOF was significantly higher in the groups of not living with spouse and walking not practiced. Conclusion: We suggests that understanding of risk factors and early detection of fall risk patients in each age group are necessary to establish and apply tailored fall prevention programs for prevention and management of the FOF in community-dwelling mid to late-adults.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate intensive care unit (ICU) nurses’ actual and perceived glove uses for preventing healthcare associated infection. Methods: We observed nurses’ donning glove by occasions and adherence to guideline for glove uses in four ICU in a single hospital. Total of 378 cases were observed from August 16 through October 6, 2020. Sixty one nurses of 66 nurses observed responded to a self-reported questionnaire about perceived glove use and knowledge of glove use. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. Results: The number of observed episodes for glove use was 277. Although the highest numbers of occasions of wearing gloves was contact precaution, the compliance rate was 72.1%. The rates of donning gloves were low in the insertion and removal of peripheral venous catheters, blood glucose testing and blood sampling, which were at risk for exposure to blood. We observed misuse of wearing gloves even when they were not required. Results showed that the majority of non-compliance with glove use were a failure of performing hand hygiene before and after glove use and a failure of changing gloves between procedures on the same patient. The participant's knowledge of glove use was high. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is necessary to provide ICU nurses with education and reinforcement of proper glove uses for infection control.

Abstract
Purpose: This study was conducted to identify predictors related to aggressive behavior of patients with mental illness admitted to a closed psychiatric ward. Methods: This study adopted a retrospective design which analyzed the hospital medical records of 363 patients with mental illness admitted to the psychiatric closed ward of a university hospital in Seoul, Korea. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS IBM 20.0 and STATA 12.0 SE. ZIP (Zero-Inflated Poisson) and count data analysis were used for the factor influencing the occurrence and frequency of aggressive behavior. Results: The results of ZIP model showed that the factors influencing non-probability of aggressive behavior were anxiety, non-adherence, and frustration. In addition, the factors influencing frequency of aggressive behavior were bipolar disorder and personality disorder trait. Conclusion: We found that bipolar disorder, frustration, and non-adherence are more likely to increase the likelihood of aggressive behavior in patients with mental illness. In particular, patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder were 1.95 times more likely to engage in repetitive aggressive behavior compared to those without a diagnose. However, since the results were different form previous studies, further studies on the traits of anxiety and personality disorders are needed.

Abstract
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing post-traumatic stress disorder in intensive care unit nurses in dedicated hospitals for coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) during the peak of the outbreak. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional correlational design. A total of 100 participants completed questionnaires comprising the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R), coping strategy indicator, social support, and post-traumatic growth. Post-traumatic stress disorder was classified as normal, mild risk, and high risk. Data were analyzed using χ² test, Fisher's exact test, Kruskal-Wallis test with multiple comparison analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multinominal logistic regression analysis. Results: Fifty seven nurses (57.0%) had a high risk of post-traumatic stress. Higher levels of post traumatic stress were associated with higher levels of social support seeking, and higher levels of avoidance, and lower levels of social support from supervisors. Higher post traumatic growth was correlated with higher social support for seeking coping, and problem solving coping strategies, and social support from supervisors and colleagues. Post-traumatic stress risk was associated with social support seeking and supervisors' social support. In addition, a higher risk of post-traumatic stress was related to COVID-19 work duration and supervisors' social support. Conclusion: Supportive programs, including increasing social support and building coping skills, may be suggested to safeguard the mental health of critical care nurses during the pandemic.
