Abstract
Traditional Korean medicine and traditional Korean (Hanbang) nursing are very similar disciplines in terms of philosophy, values, and identity. Traditional Korean medicine views that harmonious and balanced human body and mental state can be formed through the flow of Qi and blood using meridians and acupressure points. This view can be applied to research, practice, theory, and education in Hanbang nursing. The meridian is a pathway through which Qi and blood, the energy necessary for life activities, pass through. Acupressure points are important meridians where physical, mental, and psychological health conditions appear as a response. Pressing and stimulating acupressure points to facilitate and communicate the flow of qi and blood in the meridians can create positive effects and enable the treatment of various symptoms and syndromes of our bodies. Hanbang nursing nursing, which is also based on the use of meridians, may be used to control various symptoms and syndromes and prevent and treat diseases. Currently, Hanbang nursing are growing along with the professionalism of Hanbang nursing practice, vitalization of Hanbang nursing research, and the development of Hanbang nursing education and theory. The growth of Hanbang nursing requires active participation of nursing scholars and efforts to converge beyond the walls of medicine and nursing.

Methods: Participants were 128 late middle-aged women. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results: Results showed that significant factors influencing successful aging were spirituality and monthly income. This regression model explained 21.4% of the variance in successful aging. Conclusion: These results provided the basic data for establishing an intervention strategy to increase the level of successful aging of middle-aged women. In addition, the results suggested that development of a nursing intervention program is in need.

Abstract
Purpose: The new infectious disease, COVID-19, is not over yet. The study aimed to identify the correlation between fatigue and professional quality of life among nurses in general wards during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used targeting 138 nurses in a tertiary general hospital located in Chungcheongnam-do from November 1 to 3, 2020. Results: The average age of the participants was 30.64 and the score of fatigue was 3.27. For the scores of subscales of professional life quality were 31.41 for compassion satisfaction, 27.12 for compassion fatigue, and 29.43 for burnout. The scores of fatigue were significantly correlated with compassion fatigue and burnout. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to expand the region and sample to investigate COVID-19 related fatigue and quality of professional life in nurses. In addition, it is necessary to seek interventions that can improve the quality of professional life for nurses.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the influences of parental neglect, national identity, and self-resiliency of multicultural adolescents on school adaptation. Methods: Participants are multicultural adolescents in the 4th year (2014) of the multicultural adolescents panel survey. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS 22.0 program. Results: Self-resiliency was the most influential factor on school adaptation of multicultural adolescents, followed by parental neglect, and national identity, mother’s Korean reading ability, multicultural adolescents’ speaking ability, city size, mother’s education, and mother’s speaking ability. Conclusion: Multicultural families who had an experience of parental neglect should be selected and those parents need to be educated about the appropriate parenting method to improve the school adaptation of multicultural adolescents. Abstract
Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop a predictive model and evaluate this model of turnover in hospital nurses. Methods: Participants were 1,565 nurses from a tertiary hospital in South Korea. Descriptive statistics and a decision-tree analysis were performed using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results: The turnover groups were presented in eleven different pathways by decision tree analysis. There were three high-risk groups with a higher turnover rate than the average, and eight low-risk groups with a lower turnover rate. Among them, two low-risk groups had a 0% turnover rate. The groups were classified according to general characteristics such as position, period of temporary position, clinical career at last working unit, total clinical career, and period of leave of absence. The accuracy of the model was 83.2%, sensitivity 63.7%, and specificity 98.1%. Conclusion: This predictive model of turnover may be used to screen the turnover risk groups and contribute for decreasing the turnover of hospital nurses in South Korea.

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of auricular acupressure on headaches and its impact on daily activities in nurses. Methods: The design of this study was a randomized controlled trial. Data were collected from April 1 to April 14, 2022. Nurses suffering from headaches were recruited from a hospital in a city. Twenty nurses were assigned to the experimental group and 20 nurses to the control group. The experimental group received auricular acupressure for 2 weeks, and the control group was put on the waiting list. Results: Auricular acupressure reduced headache over 2 weeks compared to the control group. Auricular acupressure reduced the effect of headache on daily activities compared to control group. Headache effect on daily activities in the control group did not change. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to repeat the study using various combinations of acupressure points other than the acupressure points used in this study or to use participants other than nurses.
